About the Author

The Alaskan outdoors is the majestic playground that serves as the backdrop for Keith Patterson's first book, Maybelle, Bunny of the North. Once a young cartoonist for his school newspaper, Keith continued to study art and received his BA in Art from SUNY, Albany. He spent two years driving a cab in Homer, Alaska where he met lots of interesting characters and sketched them to the delight of his young daughter who enjoys his improvisational pictures and stories. Keith Patterson lives in Asheville, North Carolina.
